Week 25 of your Pregnancy
Baby is looking good, although still skinny, with fully formed eyebrows and eyelashes, genitals and with his/her hair having color and texture.
He/she is still exploring everything by touching his/her face, feet and umbilical cord.
Baby now weighs around 1½ pounds or 660 grams and is about 13.5 inches or 35 cm long (about the size of a soccer ball).
What to Expect
Swelling or puffiness can cause tingling or numbness of the fingers. This is due to the swelling causing pressure on the nerves in the carpal tunnel.
Excessive or sudden onset swelling should be discussed with your doctor or midwife.
If you are having very vivid, weird or wacky dreams, don’t worry, that is part of pregnancy too.
Tip for Week 25
Start working on your budget for the necessities for your baby. Ask friends and family for recommendations and start making a list (with prices for comparison).
